Now that we have a majority of the perfunctory stuff out of the way, let’s get down to business.Īs with most MMO’s, Star Trek Online begins in character creation. However, with the Star Trek name attached to it, shortcomings in the games discussed in reviews by critics like myself will certainly not be as scathing as those of the millions of “Trekkies” bound to give the game a try and lampoon even it’s smallest shortcoming. But when reviewing an MMO at launch, bugs and a lack of completeness are expected if not understood. It’s only when bugs pop up in quality games are they really noted and noticed affecting the score given by the reviewer. I also spent a couple months playing and generally enjoying City of Heroes, so I was familiar with Cryptic prior to Star Trek Online.įor most games, the completeness of development and lack of bugs are generally assumed. Thus what was Marvel Universe Online became Champions Online.Ī veteran of the early MMO titles, I played Ultima Online from launch, and following that Star Wars Galaxies. When Marvel cancelled the agreement, Cryptic acquired the license to the super hero based Champions role playing game. When NCSoft bought the CoH/ CoV code in 2007, Cryptic was already focus on the development of what was going to be Marvel Universe Online. Best known for developing City of Heroes, Cryptic Studios spent 3 years developing expansions for CoH, including the standalone City of Villians that was unique in how it linked to CoH.

Powered by the Essence Engine 3.0, the Company of Heroes 2 series feature some unique mechanics rewarding thoughtful players. Hope it would be helpful for anyone reach here.Company Of Heroes 2 Mobile is now on Google Play. The solution is making these devices using deprecated camera API. So I thought it's a bug in some samsung devices with legacy camera2 api in API 21. They have the same ratio reported from CameraCharacteristics.SENSOR_INFO_ACTIVE_ARRAY_SIZE. The supported preview sizes all have 1.33333 ratio. The system dump info list many of the preview sizes, after check all of them, I found only 1440x1080, 640x480, 320x240 are supported. Preferred-preview-size-for-video: 1920x1080 $ adb shell dumpsys media.camera |grep preview-size The preview sizes reported from StreamConfigurationMap.getOutputSizes(SurfaceTexture.class) are not all supported. The preview is stretched, tDefaultBufferSize not working, the framework will override these value when preview started. I encounter similar issue, model SM-A7009 with api level 21, legacy camera2 device. Note: using the old Camera API, with exactly the same "preview size" and the same surface as the target (either MediaCodec's or the custom one) - ALL IS FINE! But I can't use the old camera API, since it's both deprecated and also seems to have a max capture size of 1080p, while the Camera2 API goes beyond that, and I need to support 4k recording. The solution would thereby be to get the actual size the camera is capturing, and the rest is pure GL matrix transforms to draw correctly. So, the real problem here is that the camera is NOT capturing at the size of the provided target surface. The result is the same - the Camera2 capture requests outputs a distorted image only for some resolutions.ĭigging deeper: calling getTransformMatrix on the SurfaceTexture immediately after updateTexImage - the matrix is always the identity matrix, as expected. I won't go into the gory details of drawing that to a TextureView or back to the MediaCodec's EGL surface. So, I created an OpenGL context, generated a texture, a SurfaceTexture for it, set its default buffer size to the camera output size, and created a Surface using the texture. Maybe the surface is not created exactly at the specified width and height, or whatever (even if the output sizes were extracted specifically for a MediaCodec.class target). There is no pattern here related to either the size or the aspect ratio. For some other resolutions the output is OK. Becomes very obvious when starting to rotate the camera - image becomes more and more skewed since it's not aligned with the X/Y axes. Samsung tablet with Android 5.1: for some resolutions, the image is obviously stretched, indicating that the camera output resolution does not match the surface size.Nexus 5/6: everything ok on Android 5/6.Start camera capture requests using the codec's created surface as the target.Ĭodec output has the correct size.Feed the output to some MediaMuxer or whatever, to see the output. Create a MediaCodec input surface with one of the suitable camera output sizes.Get characteristics of a camera using Camera2 API, and extract output sizes suitable for a MediaCodec.class.Update: This looks like it's related to this: Image data from Android camera2 API flipped & squished on Galaxy S5 - I consider this as a bug since Nexus 5/6 works correctly and it makes no sense to need to obtain full sensor size and then cropping manually to reach the desired aspect ratio, might as well not using "supported" output sizes as well! The characteristics of Adie’s pupil can be summarized as follows: the affected pupil is significantly larger than the normal pupil the direct and indirect reflection of light from the affected pupil disappears and the affected pupil is sensitive to low concentrations of pilocarpine.Īdie’s pupil is mainly associated with infectious diseases, most commonly syphilis, followed by immune diseases and paraneoplastic syndromes. However, some patients have no ophthalmologic symptoms. Blurred vision is the main clinical manifestation of this disease. Prednisolone, tropicamide-phenylephrine, betamethasoneĪdie’s pupil demonstrates sex predilection, having a greater incidence in women than men. The complexity of the pathogenesis often leads to difficulty in identifying Adie’s pupil and possible related diseases by ophthalmologists and neurologists.īlurred vision, pain behind the eyeball, photophobia When Adie’s pupil is accompanied by weakened or absent deep reflexes and segmental anhidrosis, it is known as Ross syndrome. When it is accompanied by weakening or disappearance of deep reflexes, it is known as Adie syndrome or Holmes-Adie syndrome. Adie’s pupil usually exists in isolation, but it should be noted that it can be associated with other symptoms or can be part of other symptoms. Unilateral involvement is observed in 80% of patients. Patients usually observe that 1 pupil is larger than the other when looking in the mirror. Adie’s pupil is predominantly seen in young women, with an age of onset of 20 to 40 years. It manifests as unilateral or bilateral pupil dilation, direct and indirect loss or weakening of light reflection, abnormal adjustment reflex, and pupil contraction disorder. Īdie’s pupil, also called tonic pupil, was first reported by the British neurologist William John Adie in 1931. The first is the light reflex, which causes bilateral pupils to shrink when 1 pupil is illuminated the second is the accommodative reflex, also known as the near reflex, which is manifested by the bilateral pupil constriction when staring at a nearby object. However, the contraction of the pupillary dilator muscle when innervated by the sympathetic nerve fibers dilates the pupil. The contraction of the pupillary sphincter muscle when innervated by the parasympathetic nerve fibers shrinks the pupil. The size of the pupil is adjusted by the pupillary sphincter and dilator. Here, the clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, relationship between Adie’s pupil and diseases, and differential diagnosis of Adie’s pupil are reviewed. Differential diagnosis between Adie’s pupil, oculomotor nerve palsy, anticholinergic drug overdose, Argyll-Robertson pupil, and congenital mydriasis need to be identified by the physician. It is essential for clinicians to improve their understanding of the disease to avoid misdiagnosis. Pilocarpine can be used to treat ophthalmologic symptoms, such as blurred vision, for which patients might visit an ophthalmologist or neurologist. The ophthalmological symptoms and pupil abnormalities can disappear after active treatment of the primary disease. Through a literature review, we found that Adie’s pupil is mainly associated with infectious diseases, most commonly syphilis, followed by immune diseases and paraneoplastic syndromes. The pathogeneses of Adie’s pupil are complex, some of which are insidious and lack corresponding specific diseases. The pupil on the affected side is sensitive to low concentrations of pilocarpine. The direct and indirect light reflection from the pupil on the affected side disappears. The pupil of the affected side is significantly larger than that on the healthy side. Most patients have unilateral eye involvement. Adie’s pupil, also called tonic pupil, is mainly seen in young women.
